Front view of the body with the laser etched aluminum skins. It was easier to work with out the skirt section attached, so it was temporarily removed.

Back view of the body with John's skins. The skins were attached with just 4 wood screws. This helped to judge where all the different components needed to go before securing the skins completely.

Work had just begin on the R5D4 dome for C3, so this was just a test "fitting". Also notice that panels have been removed and the skins cleaned up.

The legs with feet were attached with carriage bolts. Since the electronics would have to be installed after C3, the 2 legged pose was necessary.
